Personal Statement
Football is my life. From the first game of catch I had in the backyard with my Dad, I knew it was my passion. And this passion fuels my competitive nature. I'm almost overly competitive; I'll do whatever it takes to win. Looking to the future, this means that whatever college I attend, I will work twice as hard as everyone around me. I need to succeed, and I know that hard work is the only way that success is guaranteed.
My parents and older brother have instilled in me the importance of academics, and that succeeding in academics also needs to be a priority. My parents always taught me that sports can't last forever, so the academic part of my life has always been just as important. I attend one of the most rigorous high schools in the country, and within this school I still strive to be the best. I take a tough and burdensome course load that includes multiple AP and Honors classes, and I strive to maintain a GPA at or above a 4.0. This academic mindset is something that I plan to take with me to whatever college I attend, even while striving to be the greatest football player I can be.
