Tanner Neiberger '18 Recruiting Profile

I started playing football in the Wolverines program when I was 9 years old.  I actually realized at this young age, when I was on the football field I was a leader and how much I enjoyed the competitiveness of the sport.   As I continued to be an athlete in multiple sports throughout junior high and high school I realized that the brotherhood of the football team was what truly inspired me to want to pursue football at the next level.  

I want my college years to be a personal growing period on and off the field.   In the class room, I plan to study business/management in hopes of one day owning and operating a heavy equipment company.   On the field, I plan to be an aggressive player, and a leader that positively influences the team.   Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, I know that the way I carry myself reflects on my team, my coaches, and the school that I attend.  I believe I can add to any football program because I am a coachable athlete who has the skills, character, and determination that coaches are looking for.

One of my motto's, that I got from a former coach is, FIGHT FINISH FAITH.   "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7  I use this in my everyday life, not just for football.
