Bobby McCabe '23 Recruiting Profile

Athletics:  Moving back to a Defensive Back (Starting Safety) and starting Wing, I'm excited to share my upcoming Senior Season with YOU!  I play various positions as highlighted by my Junior Season FY21 in being moved from a skill-set player to an Edge Rusher where I lead my 5A Conference in Sacks at my position through the regular season.  I'm heading into my 11th football season as a Senior at Rock Canyon High School.  I'm a multi-sport high-school athlete competing in Football/Track & Field and desire to continue my football career playing at a high level in College.  

Character:  Dedicated to my craft, I have a passion to learn, lead and work on and off the football field.  Communication is KEY!  I've been a captain throughout my football career and am in running to get my first nod for Varsity Captain this year.  My parents, siblings and strong community have had a major and positive impact on my life.

Academics:  Last semester I had a 3.5 GPA and look to carry and improve upon my current 3.1 Cumulative GPA.  My GPA was impacted by an unprecedented Pandemic year that shifted our learning experience to remote.  I'm interested in various aspects within Business such as Economics and Finance and will be graduating with our Business Cord Recognition taking:  Principles of Business, Business Economics, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Finance and heading into a Capstone course and joining Deca my Senior year.   I've also taken a couple AP courses.
