Personal Statement
Hi, I’m Kinnick Manley. I’m a 3 year Varsity football player, I’ve played O line, D Line and long snapper. I’m 17, 6’3, 240 lbs. I love long snapping and want to peruse a college football career in long snapping. I have gone to multiple Rubio Long Snapping Clinics and am currently a 4 star recruit. I’m very hard working, dedicated and love being apart of a team. I’ve always wanted to be the best I can be at snapping because it was always a competition growing up with my dad and who doesn’t want to be their dad in a sport?! Growing up I played flag football, basketball and baseball until my freshman year of high school. That’s when I fell in love with long snapping and earned the starting spot on c team as a freshman. Throughout my football career I’ve learned to perfect my technique and get better at the things that needed improvement, that’s what keeps pushing me to be a better snapper. My academic goals for college are part of me wanting to go to college. For me they will be a restart and a statement to prove to people that I can get good grades compared to my grades in high school and start a new chapter of my life. I faced many obstacles in high school that most people don't ever experience. My sophomore year they obstacles caused me to transfer middle of the year on a hardship. Once I transferred and got used to my new school and teachers COVID happened. But from these bumps in the road that I have over come, have only pushed me to be stronger mentally and emotionally and made me want to keep trying to be my best.
I look forward to joining a college football family and contributing my best attributes to make the team and community better.
