Personal Statement
Hello, I am Greyson Matalus. I am a senior in high school in Monument, Colorado. One of my many goals is to play college sports, specifically football. Although I have played many positions, I love to play defense. I also play offense and kicker. The college I go to must offer a good education in the field I prefer to pursue. I have a love for the game and have played many sports. I have grown up playing soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. In high school, I also play basketball and run track. However, football is my favorite sport by far. I also make an effort to succeed in the classroom as well. In fact, my first letter was in Academics. Overall, my goal is to play football in college while obtaining a great education.
Last season, my team made the Colorado 4A football playoffs, where we played into the 2nd round. My awards this past year included Pikes Peak League MVP award for Specialist of the Year (kicking and punting) and Pikes Peak League 2015 Honorable Mention All-Conference Defensive Back.
