I have been playing football since 3rd grade and I have learned over the years to give everything I have in not only every game but every practice. When I moved to Parachute, Colorado due to my size I was placed on the offensive and defensive line because of the rule that says if you are a certain weight you can't touch the ball. Since then I have played on the offensive line not only due to my size but my experience. When I started high school my goal was to move to the defensive linebacker position. Through hard work, I started getting faster and stronger and was able to fulfill my goal. This year I lead my team in tackles with 76 total tackles and 42 solo tackles. In my senior year, my goal is to again lead my team in tackles and beat this season's tackles. I also want to get off of the offensive line and try to earn a tight end position. I feel that my skills could be better utilized at a tight end and will continue to work hard to earn that position. I also work hard in academics. My current GPA is a 3.7 and I am currently taking classes at the local community college. I will continue to work hard not only on and off the field but in the classroom to continue my goal of being a collegiate athlete.
