Personal Statement
I started playing football when I heard about a local league at the age of 7. At the time my parents did not have much money to pay for all the expenses. so I started going around the neighborhood mowing lawns, pulling weeds, and any other little jobs to help pay for it. ever since my first season at 7 I have been able to work and pay for a lot of my expensive myself. I fell in love with the sport, the hitting the adrenaline the crowds all that is electrifying. My favorite thing about the sport is the relationships I have developed with teammates and coaches. This sport has taught many many lessons and the biggest one that sticks with me personally is the discipline needed to be a successful player. Such as keeping grades up, and the reputations you paint on yourself and your team as well as doing little details right that will help you improve as a player.
Thankfully I have not had very many serious injuries throughout my career and have been fortunate enough to play with different skill level teams from bench warmers to championship teams. throughout little league and middle school I have played running back, quarter back, linebacker and defensive end. Going into high school I played a little running back as a freshman but decided to stay on the defensive side as a linebacker. I have a very good ability to read plays and run alleys. Personally I think my strongest suite on the field is being a leader, getting people set, keeping everyone motivated and being the guy they look to to make the big play. I would like to pursue fields of study in biology as well as engineering. I hope to continue my education and football career at the next level.
