Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was nine years old. Ever since then, I have always aspired to playing at a higher level. I know that playing in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could change my life.
I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I feel I am a team leader and try to lead by example by encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players, as well as one of the hardest working recruits you will find.
In the classroom, I study hard, and maintain a high GPA. I have also volunteered at a local youth football camp, at our community food bank and at a beautification/renovation project in a local cemetery which had become dilapidated and rundown.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself both in the classroom and on the football field. Ultimately, I'm looking for a college that is a good fit both academically as well as athletically. I want to attend a college who sees me as being a great addition to their school as a person and not just my athletic abilities. I feel I have a lot to offer a college both on and off the field.
I am open to all options and want to find the right college, at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to my peers and make my parents proud.
