Greetings Coaches! As you can tell by now, my name is Da'Jaun Banks and I'm a 16-year old Junior currently enrolled in William H. Hall High School in West Hartford, CT. Presently, I'm a Junior now looking forward to my Senior year, a 2021 prospect. I'm involved in co-curricular activities, football, and track and field as shown throughout my profile. I was introduced to Track my freshman year, and I appreciate the tack away from it, that can help develop and enhance my game on the turf. Football means a lot to me. My love for the game is tremendous, I've played all my life and wish to continue through college. I stand 6'0 tall, weighing at 160 lbs. What difference myself from other athletes, is that I can play multiple positions on the field. According to Maxpreps, I was ranked number 5 in Class LL of Connecticut for kick returns but 21 in general during the 19-20 season. Although I wasn't too fascinated with my stats, I recognize my weakness and tend to attack them, and to do so, I maintain myself in the weight room as much as possible. My attendance in your program would be notable. I love to compete, I want to finish on top. It's just my mentality is to win. I can be a secret weapon, meaning I am not too flashy but I know when a show is needed for the team. Being a role-model instead of a leader is more critical. I like to inspire others to do better for themselves instead of being demanding to direct the work of others to achieve a specific goal. Off the field, I prefer to be in an astonishing classroom setting where I could continue my academics for 4-complete years. Being a student-athlete means grades before sports; football is a privilege. It means the world for me to continue my academics and athletics in the future in college, I just hope to be that person my family relies on whatever the case may be.
