Family, Foster Care, Friends, and Football! I'm the oldest of FIVE children, two of which we adopted through foster care. Seeing what my siblings have gone through and the change that it brought to my family made me the player that I am today. I don't take anything for granted. That's why I want to be the first player on the field and the last one to leave. My family works as a team and we need all seven players to work and do their parts in order to function! My parents instilled in me to always do my part. I will play wherever a coach puts me and work hard at whats put in front of me! Football is my passion and has been since I was 5 years old. However, my parents wouldn't allow me to play football unless I also played an instrument. I've been working hard at the cello since I was 5 as well. It also has helped me to be a more well rounded player on the field. I appreciate music but football plays, reading defenses, and game prep are what keep me up at night! I need to play at the next level and I will work harder than I even thought possible in order to continue playing the game that I love! (Plus, my 4 year old little brother is watching my every move and I must make him proud!)
More Recently, I am in the class of 2021 at Red Lion Christian Academy in Bear, Delaware. I am DB/QB/ATH and strive on both sides of the ball. I am 6’2,190. I run 4.6 40 yard dash. Football is my passion, it’s what I love to do, and strive to be better at every day. I pride myself on having a very high IQ of the game, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Making quick decisions and reads of where the ball is going to be is what I’m known for. Being a quarterback for many years has definitely helped me strive on both sides of the ball. I am a very coachable and moldable player which I also pride myself on.
Academically, I am an A student with a weighted GPA of 4.294. I am also a member of the National Honors Society (NHS). Finishing out my senior year strong by ending my first quarter of the semester with all A’s. I have been in many AP and Honors classes over my 4 years of high school. Other accomplishments include proficiency in cello (I have played since I was 5), founding member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) club Sophomore year, varsity sports for every semester since freshman year (football, basketball, and track and field), and rated number 1 javelin thrower sophomore year. I am hoping to combine all that I have learned academically and athletically to pursue a degree in the area of Business.
This year so far I have thrown 10 touchdowns for 1052 yards. Currently putting me at 3rd in the State in passing yards. On the defensive side I have 23 total tackles and 1 interception playing both DB and also LB. Being a dual threat athlete I have also ran for 154 yards and 3 TD’s.
