My name is Matthew Brooks and I am ready to join your program as a walk-on. In 2020 I was a PWO at the University of Miami, however, due to a family matter I had to withdraw and return home to Connecticut. I am now a senior at Quinnipiac University, which does not have a football team. I have, however, managed to remain in shape by getting involved with the powerlifting squad and getting into jiu-jitsu. I require no special treatment outside of a helmet and a locker and I will walk in and add depth to your roster from the moment I step on campus.
I am aware that this is an intense ask and undertaking, but I have nothing but complete confidence in both my academic and athletic abilities. I have also attached my high school film from IMG Academy. I will be following this email up with either a phone call or a Twitter/X DM, where I have already sent you a follow.
I look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you and God bless.
