Personal Statement

Hello I’m Joseph, but I go by Joey. I played football all my life and football is my life. I eat and sleep football everyday and everyday I give 110% each day in the classroom and on the Field. I played football for 13 years and ever since I knew what football was, I just been focusing  on it more than anything and also the weight room to get stronger and faster. I train everyday at the gym and at the fields with my catching, routes, agility, releases  and many more. I’m just hard working person and full of life and all I want is to get better, do better and just improve what I’m capable of on the field. My family is the best and I can’t ask for another family and friends they support me so much with everything they have and I appreciate everything they do I love them Dearly! I want to be the best Wide Receiver who ever played the game and if i work hard to be the best and always go 110% and train and train and get better and to be the best with practice and hard work and with the dedication to football and God, anything is possible! I’m different from other athletes  by my effort, desire, skill, attitude, giving 110% of my ability, the way I perform on the field, the way i play Wide receiver with my catching, my releases off the line, my route running, my ability to adjust to the football, speed, agility, and just never giving up until I get it correct, so I can be the best!  Me being a student all I do is just do my work and pay attention to everything I need to know and I give no complaints, I’m just there to do my work, LEARN and get smarter, also I’m in A and B Honor roll never got one C, all As and Bs nothing less. Now me being an Athlete for football, I can go on forever, but manly I’m very coachable and I love the game better then anyone and me being a Wide Receiver I having Excellent hands, never will drop a ball ever, my releases is wonderful off the line with Press coverage and zone coverage, my route running is amazing I can sell fade every single route and tell lies with my eyes and me breaking down on the top of the route and make it really nice looking and fast off the break and get open off a defender, I can read zones on defense, I’m fast and Athletic, my Agility is pretty spot on, but I have some things to work on but by the time and hard work and Dedication i will get it in no time. My hand and eye Coordination is very great and when I get that football I will do my best to make a play and give 110% every single play even if I’m not getting the ball and block the DB I will and I will do everything I can to make my team get a victory no matter what! I give it my all off the field and on, when it comes to athletically and academically.“If you love it enough, it will love you back“. "I only know one way to achieve success. You have to earn it". My goal and dream is to go D1 and make it professionally and my options are open to any college that is interested in me!

I don't have a Plan B and that might sound dumb, but for me it's either football or nothing, because when you have a plan B you are already doubting yourself saying oh just in case if I can't do it, I'm going to be something else. NO! that means you don't love it and die for it and football is everything to me and it's either to play ball or just give up and I'm not that. Plan and Simple

Me Being Great Receiver with all the great attributes that comes with it. With my releases off the ball, me stacking the DB, me reading the DB and the Defense coverage, being getting separation from the DB and getting yards after the catch, me always turning up field and protecting that ball with my life and never drop that ball no matter what is the case, being the first read for the QB to see me open and also blocking when I have to for a run play and always giving 110%.
