I started football in 6th grade because the idea of being able to hit someone sounded awesome, I think that's how most people get attracted to the sport if we're completely honest with ourselves. The more I got into the sport, however, I realized there is a lot more to the sport than I thought and it became my passion leading to today. It is the reason for me writing this and allows me to have the opportunity to create this account. I have devoted myself to this sport, I prepare every day for the next season and every season I aspire to challenge myself and focus on becoming a better player every time my cleat touches the grass. If I get knocked down, I get back up. If I slip up, the next play will be phenomenal. If the man next to me gets knocked down, I help them up. If the man next to me slips up, I motivate them for the next play.
No matter how much I get to appreciate the sport of football, academics remain my main focus. If I don't succeed in school, football loses all meaning and I don't succeed in life. School, like football, takes effort and dedication to come out on top and that's what I endeavor. I strive for excellence not only for myself, but for my teammates who need me on the field and for my coaches who come out everyday to push us to our maximum potential.
After all I've written you know I absolutely aspire to play at a collegiate level and hope to build myself a better future with football.
