Personal Statement
Well, as you know my name is Zack Jenkins. First off I want to thank you for taking the time to read my statement. I have loved sports ever since I was a litlle kid and the sport that always intrigued me the most was football. I love how the game takes players with different kinds of skills and forces them to work together as a team to be successful. The quarterback position always appealed to me because it is the position of leadership, pressure, and work ethic.
I am about six foot three inches tall and I weigh 183 pounds. I run a 4.7 second 40 yard dash. I have played football ever since the sixth grade. As a high school quarterback, I took it upon myself to work harder and longer than everyone else on my team. It has been my goal and dream to play college football since i was a child. I personally would like to stay in the Southern part of the country, if possible, but if the oppurtunity arises I'm wiling to go anywhere. I am open to all different types of schools. I want to major in Athletic Training and minor in Business. My athletic goals are to play at the highest competition level possible and help a college team have success in any way that I can.
