Personal Statement
I feel like I have grown the most, not just as a student athlete, but as a person from the end of my freshman year to early into my sophomore year. I became a starter on the Varsity during that time and I had to prove to myself, my coaches, and teammates that I was capable of being a starter on varsity as a Sophomore. That period of my life proved to me that I was no longer a kid anymore. I had to grow up as a football player. I continued to get better throughout my Sophomore season. After a great Junior season, I am looking forward to having an even better Senior year. I know I have to continue to work hard and keep the same focus that I had Junior year to be capable of playing at the college level. Going into my Senior year, I am very confident that I can be a leader on this team and continue to get better.
I am extremely lucky to be apart of an amazing football program with great coaches, who have taught me not just about football, but about life now and life after football. I would love a school that fits my athletic abilities, as well as my academic abilities. Academics are very important to me, because football will not last forever. I want to get a great education so that I can be successful in life after football. Athletically, I feel like after my last next year of high school I could make an immediate impact on a college team.
