Derrick Higginbotham '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Derrick Higginbotham I attend Duval charter high school on Baymeadows in Jacksonville Florida. In this year my last year of high school I was switched from defensive end to middle linebacker. For me personally I want to further my athletic career no matter what position I may play I want to develop as a player at a great college i believe I can be taught the necessary skills as a LB to make an impact on the field. My goal as a student athlete would be to always keep my grades ahead of my game. What makes me a good candidate is that I am versatile at the linebacker position i can play MLB,DE, and OLB. Although I’m still learning the LB position I will never give half effort on anything whether it is a play I messed up on or any situation.
