Deon Briggs '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'1" defensive tackle out of Jacksonville, Fl.  In my freshman year of high school I was not only the ONLY freshman on the varsity team, I was a starter as well and have been a starter since.   Just this last season, I got to play one of the biggest and most thrilling games of my life on the FSU field and win the State Championship with my team.   I have earned several defensive player of the game recognitions during my high school career.   I am a very hard working athlete and my life has revolved around playing football since I was 5 years old.  Playing football on a college level has been a dream of mine for as far back as I can remember!  I am very easy to coach and take direction very well from my coaching staff.    I have been thriving my entire football career to be one of the best in my position and to be better with every practice and game that I play.  I am willing to put in the time and effort to get myself to the next level in playing football at the college level.

I am open to schools in any area.  I am looking for a strong academic as well as athletic program in college.  I am not quite certain at this time what major I am interested in pursuing, but I am leaning  to business management and culinary arts.  I am extremely certain that I want to be a big impact on  the field with my team.
