Hello coaches, My name is Michael Carpenter and I will be the first person in my family to go to college. With this being said I feel as if I would be a great fit in college both academically and athletically. I feel this way because I currently maintain a 4.0 non weighted and 4.47 weighted GPA by not only taking Honors courses, but also collegiate level courses. In doing this I am currently ranked 2nd in my graduating class of 2023, and I only plan on going up from there. I would be a great asset for any program due my drive, work ethic and the fact that I have been playing some type of football since I was 4 years old. In that time I have won over 10 championships 2 of which were national youth championships and in all of those championships I was a starting offensive lineman. I not only take pride in practicing with my team, but also make sure that I hone my craft in my own time as well. I study my playbooks, practice my blocking assignments and get extra training for my technique to make sure that I am the best I can be for myself and the team I play for. College will give me the resources to improve my overall quality of life, and potentially the quality of life for may others. I plan on using my degree to build a foundation for my business , because there has to be a plan for life after football whenever that should come. I am being raised on the the idea that you finish what you start and I won't be finished until I have a degree at the very least.
