My name is Michael Mambuca and I play football for Gulf Coast High School In Naples, Florida. I am originally from Long Island, New York and I moved to Naples in 2006. My aspirations are to play college football at the highest possible level. I am a great player to have on a team because of my work ethic, competitive drive, and intelligence. On and off the field I will work harder than anyone. I love to win but I hate losing more. I will always do whatever I can to prevent losing from happening. I am a very competitive person which pushes me on the field and in the weight room to always try and do more. I am also very smart on and off the field. I pick up plays and schemes very easily and take pride in being a very respectable and coachable player. I have a 4.4 G.P.A and I take great pride in that. My schoolwork has always been very important to me and I strive always for perfection in the classroom. Out of school I always aim to put myself around people who make me a better person so I can stay out of trouble. I am viewed as a leader by my team by my words and actions. I am always 100% honest, respectful, responsible, and am someone a coach or teammate can count on. I am open to attend any school whether big or small, private or public. I am also open to playing anywhere around the nation. I am always going to give everything I have all the time and feel I am a great addition to any college football team. When asked what my best attribute is as an athlete compared to others, my answer is my brain. As an offensive lineman if you do not have the intelligence to remember your offensive plays and break down in an instant, the defensive schemes in front of you, you can't use your athletic skills and therefore you can't be successful.
