As I started my Sophomore year on varsity football, I knew there was lots to learn from my upper class man and was eager to do so. I also had to earn the respect of my teammates, since I was only a Sophomore. That year was amazing for our team. We went on to win State Regionals 6A title, but lost when we were in the final four. It was a tough loss, but handing in my gear that night I knew my dream wasn’t over. Since that night in December 2016 I’ve passed my goals in the weight room and the classroom. During my Junior year we were blessed with another great season. As I start my Senior year, I'm the only starting offensive lineman returning. I planned to represent the definition of teamwork, dedication, sacrifice and leadership on and off the field.
My college years are going to be the next chapter in my life and a personal growth period. My goal is to study pre-law, attend law school and become an attorney. I believe I have the talent, character and work-ethic to compete for a college team. I’m hoping to find my perfect fit athletically and academically. On the field, I will strive to be an asset wherever I’m needed. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
