I am very fortunate that my parents have raised me with the proper perspective on faith, family and football. These three, in that order, are the most important areas in my life. I have been playing football since I was seven years old, but I really began to love it when I was eleven and an injury almost cost me the season. I’ve learned how important it is to trust my coaches and my teammates and truly what it means to be a part of a brotherhood.
The biggest obstacle that I’ve faced was being the only freshman called up to start on the varsity team. My father always taught me that there will be times when others are bigger, faster, and stronger than you, but there is no excuse for someone outworking you. That’s how I try to approach all areas of my life. My goal is to graduate high school with a 4.0 gpa and two years of college completed. I know that my football IQ, work ethic and leadership skills would make me a tremendous asset to your team.
