Personal Statement
Prospective Coach,
My name is Leon "Duke" McClinton. I'm a 6'1" 245lb Defensive Tackle and Fullback as my Secondary position for West Florida High School of Advanced Technology. As a Junior, we finished 11-2 with the best record in the City of Pensacola, Florida. It is my desire to play the same two positions in College. Although I play anywhere on the line due to the lack of size in our program, I could easily be utilized as a big back at the next level due to my great footwork, vision, hands, size, and power. My main attributes are my work ethic, strength, and desire to win. I love to hit on the field and I also love the weight room. I am a respectable person raised with good manners and moral character. In addition to being a great teammate, I plan to study either the STEM or Engineering Program. My current GPA is 3.7 on a 4.0 scale. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
