Johnathon Lewis '20 Recruiting Profile

I'm not your typical high school football player. The passion and intensity that I play with is hard to find or mimic. I have been on the varsity football team since my Freshman year and I have started nearly every game. I anchor the offensive line and im truly the leader that glues that unit together.  I have many gifts and one is his ability to utilize my leverage to control my opponent. Not many plays end without me throwing my adversary to the ground. As a high school wrestler I have developed a style that gives me an extra edge. While leverage is important my strength can not go unnoticed. I thrive in the weight room and will not be outworked. Off the filed I'm working very hard to improve my GPA. The transition to high school was not a easy one for me. However, I have made it a point to make my education a priority and I currently maintains a 2.5 GPA. I have several AP courses and I'm heavily involved in the community. I have amassed over 50 community service hours and should accumulate more. My ultimate goal is to play at the next level while more importantly earning a college degree.
