Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was six years old. I have always wanted to play at the college football. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life and give me the opportunity to get the degree that I want.
I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am active in strength and conditioning training year round. I am always researching programs and workouts that will improve my speed and strength. I am the son of a football coach. My dad is my current Head Football Coach. I have learned a lot about football from being the son of a coach. It has given me more than just the experience of being a player. I am going into the ninth grade this year and will be starting on both the varsity and JV Teams. As a seventh grader I started on the JV team and as a eighth grader I started on JV and saw extensive playing time on the varsity team where I started on special teams. I have played and started at multiple positions. The positions that I have played on offensive is running back, tight end, and wide receiver. On defense I have played safety, defensive end, and cornerback. I am also a starter on the kick off and kick return teams where I am kick returner on the kick return team.
I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am involved with my church youth group. I also volunteer my time with my football team helping to organize and lead offseason weight and conditioning training.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud
