My first introduction to the game was in 7th grade. A few coaches really didn't believe in me. So, setting out to proved them wrong. I got my chance to shine and scored a touchdown. That's when I realized football was for me. Still playing second string in 7th & 8th grade to Lake Cormorant Middle School. The summer before my first year at Lake Cormorant High School. I made up in my mind that I would play hard and become a starter. Since then setting out turn my dream into reality. A lot of people still doubt me today but I just use it as motivation.
Since I would be the first of four siblings to attend college, setting a good example is very important. I have an interest in sports medicine. One day hoping to play a major role in prevention of major injuries to athletes. Also become a great team player. I'm a good candidate for any team because along with athletic ability I bring self motivation and determination. This quality also help me maintain good academic standards in the classroom.
Being taught the order GOD, FAMILY, then EDUCATION, FOOTBALL help me maintain the highest integrity, values, and volunteering at the Veteran Affairs Hospital my 9th grade year allowed me to observe self sacrifice up close. This experienced helped with endurance to reach my goals. These things equals the character of person/athlete I am today.
