Theodore (TJ) Barton '22 Recruiting Profile

I was fortunate to start my Tackle Football career at 9 years old with the local PAL Team. My baseball coach at the time convinced me I should give it a try (he was the Football Coach also). I was kind of a chubby kid that lacked confidence and toughness but always tried really hard. Youth Football turned out to be the best thing I ever did. I grew in so many ways over the years at PAL, AYF, and Pop Warner. Not only did I develop physically but mentally it turned me completely around. My confidence levels sky rocketed helping me overcome any obstacle in my way. I can honestly say that the mentors I have had through Football and a strong family foundation have made me what I am today. I am very coachable and respectful, I encourage and cheer on those around me, I work hard on and off the field, and strive to become bigger, faster, and stronger in the hopes to continue my Football career as long as possible.
