Anfernee Alston '17 Recruiting Profile

I have played on varsity for 3 years. I received the Freshman Class Award 2013 and the JV Offensive Player of the Year 2013.  I've played running back, defensive back and special teams.  Last year I received the Sophomore Class Award 2014, Rookie of the Year Award 2014, Running Back of the Year 2014, and Academic Champion 2014.  I had 830 yards rushing, 9 rushing TDs and 1 TD from a fumble recovery on kickoff.  I was fourth in the Tampa Bay Area 6A class in rushing yards and sixth in scoring. This year I was the Running Back of the Year 2015 and the Offensive Player of the Year 2015.  I'm taking several honors courses while maintaining a 3.33 GPA.  I volunteer as an tutor for the West Tampa Spartans youth football team and I also help my teammates with classes that they are needing help.
I usually run track as well as playing football, but this season I will be focusing on weight and speed training to prepare for my Junior year.  I will be working with coaches, trainers and teammates on improving skills and footwork.  Goals for my Junior year is to take the ACT and SAT.  Also to make as many unofficial visits as possible to colleges and make at least three camps.
