Tyler Pounders '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches!

My name is Tyler Lee Pounders and am a Junior at Umatilla High School in Florida, set to graduate in 2026.  I am currently 6'1 and weight 167 pounds.  I started my football career late with POP Warner 12U, but don't let that fool you as it did my coaches.  It was quickly realized how blessed I was with speed, strong tackling, the ability to kick the ball, and an overall knowledge of the game.  This year, I was a starter with the Junior Varsity football team.  I also was placed on the Varsity special teams, kicker, and punter. 

Currently, my main strengths are the constant willingness to learn the game.  Since I play so many different positions, this allows me to be more flexible for my team.  This is important to me because leadership is key to winning games.  

Lastly, my Faith pushes me to constantly be better and never give up.  I come from a strong family who supports my goals 110%.  Even though I have a long way to go, I will strive to consistently do my best to get your attention for the future.
