Dion Holmes '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Dion Holmes. I am a senior at Vero Beach High School. I am focused and interested in playing in the collegiate football level. I think i can contribute a lot and make an impact to a football team. I am 5'11" 205lbs. I run a 4.65 forty yard dash time. I started on my high school defense for 3 years atSS/LB. My numbers and accolades from my senior season are team captain, 145 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, 7 deflects, 7 QB press, and a 1 blocked kick.I also made first team all-area on defense 2 years straight, received invites to the army all American and under armor combine, and played in the All-star All American High School combine in Daytona, Fl. I will put football above all except GOD, family, and education. All three are important in building character, which is the back bone of an athlete and a successful team. I am a hard worker and have a good work ethic. I try as much as I can to motivate my teammates and make an impact on the team in the weight room and on off the field.
