My name is Drew Collins and I am a 6’1” 290 pound Offensive and Defensive Lineman at Wheeler County High School. I will graduate in May 2014. My grades have always been important to me and have been stressed by my family. Both of my parents are teachers and my dad is my offensive line coach. The weight room is also very important to me. I am enjoying playing on the offensive and defensive line and long snapping this year. This is my third season starting at left tackle and being the long snapper for punts and extra points. I was named to the All Region team as an Offensive Lineman my Junior year and Honorable Mention my Senior year even though i had an ACL injury in game six. My grade point average is 3.5. My plans are to attend a college and major in athletic training, or pre-physical therapy. I have always wanted to help others and feel this would be a way to do that and remain around athletics. I would like to go to a college with a good FCA program. I am on the leadership team at my high school for FCA and enjoy ministering to my peers. I am enjoying visiting colleges and finding the school for me. I have gained a great deal of knowledge this summer at several prospect camps and O-Line camps and enjoyed meeting the college coaches and seeing how they coach.
