I began playing rec league football when I was just nine years old. My first year playing, my team went all the way to the Turkey Bowl, and I knew then that I wanted to compete through school and into college--the feeling of accomplishment I gained during that season and the sense of comradery I found in being part of a team have really shaped me into the athlete that I am today. I am a versatile athlete, with experience playing guard, center, tackle, and long snapper. I work out or train at least five days per week, always aiming to improve myself for the good of my team. I will graduate when I am only 17, and have lots of growing and strengthening time left, but I already stand 6'4" and weigh in at 280lb. I am well-liked by my coaches and teammates, and I believe I will do well wherever I land. Outside of football, I am a good student and consider myself to be very smart. Having the combination of intelligence and size makes me a good fit for offensive line. In fact, this year I was awarded the honor of "Offensive Lineman of the Year" by my coaches, school, and team and was named to the 4A preseason All-State team this year. My goal is to procure a scholarship that will allow me to play football in college while earning my degree in computer science.
