I am a competitor. I am never better than when I am confronting a challenge or opponent and leave it all on the field. My coaches have always told me they would much rather have to hold a player back than to have to push and they never had to worry about that with me! I am deeply committed to team and to the game. The Coaches would confirm that no one worked harder. I simply love football and all that it represents--leadership, community, perseverance, skill and commitment. I strive to apply what I learn through the game to life. I am a better student, son, brother and friend because of the game and probably more importantly, because of preparation for game day. I want to commit to a team and be led by Coaches who are focused on whole person development. If your not an Alabama fan, it may be risky for me to share a quote from Bear Bryant but it really speaks to me, "It's not the will to win that matters- everyone has that. It's the will to prepare to win that matters." I am willing to do the work.
Life verse: Phillipians- 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
