Jesse Martin '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jesse Martin and I am currently in my Senior year at Alexander High School in Douglasville, Georgia. I currently have a 3.8 GPA and in the upper 17% of my class (83out of 493). I am currently a starting member of the varsity football team and varsity wrestling team. On the football team I am currently a starter on the offense line as right gaurd. The first three games of my junior season, I was the starting center, I was then asked to move to right guard where I am currently starting. On the varsity wrestling team, I have been the starting heavy weight since midway through my freshman year. During my freshman season, I was a part of the 6A GHSA 2018 State team dual runner up team, I placed 3rd at freshman state and placed second at the South East Greco tournament. My sophomore year my record was 43-15. I was part of the 6A GHSA 2019 State dual runner up team, Region Champion and placed 5th at 6A GHSA Individual State. Going into my junior year for wrestling, I was picked to lead my team as wrestling captain. My junior year I wrestled 285lb and my record was 39-11. I was North Hall invitational runner-up, Southern slam runner-up, CRWA invitational champion, Bradley invitational third place, Region 5 AAAAAA Dual Team Champion, AAAAAA State Dual Team 5th Place, Region 5AAAAAA Individual Champion, AAAAAA A Sectional 5th Place, AAAAAA State 6th Place, 2019-2020 Georgia‘s Most Positive Wrestling Athlete in Northwest Atlanta and 2019 second team All  Region offense lineman.
