I am 6'5, 215 lbs Defensive End starter. First Team All-Region Defensive Line (only junior chosen for this position). I am fast, as well as being one of the strongest players on my team. I love to hit the weight room and currently bench 320 lbs. and squat 405 lbs. This year, I have the most tackles and on my team and have been player of the week numerous times. I have participated in football, basketball, and track and field, however, my heart is in football. As a fourth grader I was kicking field goals and running interceptions. I have followed college football ever since I can remember. Last year, I put on about 20 lbs and plan on putting on about 30 more this year. In the off season I run track and throw the shot put. I ran the 100 yard dash and participated in the high jump at the state level when I was younger. My dream is to keep playing football throughout my college career.
I am a good student with a grade point average of 4.1. I take honors science, math, and social studies. I plan on pursuing a degree in business marketing. I volunteer at the United Methodist Church food bank once per month loading boxes of can goods in the cars of good people who have fallen on bad times. Each Wednesday evening I volunteer at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church leading the recreation time with the youth. I was in the Beta Club my Freshman and Sophomore Years and now I am on the National Honor Society at my high school and plan on joining FBLA. It is my desire to play Defensive End in College. My main attributes are my work ethic, strength, and desire to win. I love to hit on the field and I also love the weight room. I am a person that is strong in my Christian faith and I am of good moral character. I know that I will make a good addition to the right School's football team and overall community.
