Lance Davis '10 Recruiting Profile

I am from a very small town called Lakeland, GA. Nobody from my town has ever played football for a college. I have worked very hard on a football career by taking care of my body and keeping my body in shape in hopes of being the first to take that journey. I will admit my grades are not everything they could be, but I can and will work extremely hard to keep my academic score where it needs to be. Right now, I'm enrolled at SGC in Douglas Ga, they don't offer football, but I enrolled to get a start on my degree. My mom asked me and my brother about two years ago "would we like to be the first ones to play pro football from Lakeland, Ga" of course we told her "yes". That question and that moment of excitement has stuck in my mind every since. I am looking for a great school that will give me a chance to show them I don't have to be from a big town to make big plays. I'm here at NCSA because I want coaches to know I'm the kind of hard working team player they want when big plays need to be made . I am grateful to have parents that taught me and continue to teach me to work hard for what I want, and never give up!
