Raphael Kirby '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2 217 pound linebacker with 4.66 speed in the forty-yard dash and great sideline to sideline movement. I have been the captain of the defense since my sophomore year. I call all of the plays and make different defensive checks. I led the team in tackles last year with 120 tackles in 11 games. I was also selected to play in the first Georgia Rising Seniors Junior Bowl game where I started at linebacker. I am looking for a school with a great balance of academics and athletics. Academics always come first so that will play a big part in which school I choose to attend. I also would like to attend a school with a great environment that fits me well. I am open to any school. I would like to learn and compete at a very high level at whatever college I choose to attend. I'm a competitor and will work hard enough to start on special teams and at linebacker as a freshman. My desired majors are architectural engineering or biology. If I choose biology, I will proceed onto grad school then dental school where I will study orthodontics.
