Football has been in my life since I was 4 yrs old. I would watch my older brother play and all I wanted to do was be on the field. When I told my Mom I wanted to play, she encouraged me and continues to do so even now. Being in the game was the most amazing feeling and I still feel that way today. Out there on the field with my friends working together to be better. This past season I was a captain and it was awesome being out there inspiring my teammates. If it wasn't for the support of my Mom and Stepdad, I wouldn't have made it this far in my football career. So I am very thankful for them and the opportunities they have given me and the camps and training they have provided.
Middle School has taught me more than just football. I have been focusing on my grades more than ever and am taking 8th grade and 9th grade honor classes. I have also learned a lot on the field. I have learned teamwork and how to compete to get onto the field for me and my team. My parents and coaches would keep pushing me forward. With their help, I was able to set goals for myself and be better. One goal was to focus on higher grades and work hard to gain them. They have showed me the importance of being a leader for my team as well. They have also helped me to be a better football player, by sending me to many different camps and helping me be better. I have learned how to be explosive off the line and am getting better everyday. I pride myself in getting off the line quick and getting into the backfield to take down a QB or Running back. With my skills and academics, I am excited to see what my future holds.
