Personal Statement

Zach is an excellent Honors student and he maintains a 3.6 grade point average in the rigorous college prep program at Augusta Christian Schools. This is his third year as a varsity starter and Zach was selected as a team captain. In 2013 Zach was selected All-Region, All-County and All-Area.  Zach was also selected for the Super 7 Selection (Best 7 Athletes in the Region), Picked as the Best Offensive Lineman for his School, Selected Best Offensive Lineman for the Grid Iron Combine, and also chosen for the CSRA Top 50 Underclassman Combine by Athelite.  Zach made the  VarsityPreps Georgia 2015 Watch List for Lineman, he also made The Opening 2014 Watch List for Offensive Line by NIKE.  In 2012 Zach was selected Honorable Mention All-Region, All-County and All-State, he helped his team win the SCISA State Championship with a 13-0 record.  Zach splits time between offensive tackle and defensive tackle . He has played center on the basketball team and played first baseman on the baseball team.  Zach works out at ATHELITE Sports Training in Augusta under the supervision of Ryan Bowers, former Atlanta Falcons player.  Even with his busy athletic schedule, Zach manages to find time to volunteer in various community activities and mission trips throughout the Southeast.  This past summer, Zach was selected to participate in the Nike Training Camp in Atlanta, GA and the NUC Invite Only Showcase in Atlanta, GA. This year Zach has been selected to participate in the Rivals Camp and NIKE camp held in Atlanta, GA in March 2014.
