I began playing football for ELCA (Little League) when I was 6 years old. We were the worst team in the league that year, I believe. As the years progressed we went from having losing records to winning the Super Bowl for our division. In middle school, we made it to the championship each year. I state this because here at ELCA we have a motto of “Demand Excellence Take Ownership” and “One Step Faster”...my fellow teammates and I believe this is true. In high school, I continue to pursue excellence and take ownership by getting one step faster each day. This is demonstrated both in my life and in football. At ELCA, we watch film at 6:00 am, we go to school from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm, which includes Honors courses and a workout in Varsity Sports, ending our day often with practice from 3:30-7:30 pm. Even though we have long practice hours and games, I maintain good grades and try to volunteer in the community and at church whenever possible. My team and I are brothers, we push each other, support each other, and pursue excellence together. Playing football at the next level has been my goal since I was in little league. I would appreciate the opportunity to play at the college level and value the community it brings. With me comes heart, perseverance, hard work, and integrity. I would love the opportunity to talk with you and learn more about your team.
