Personal Statement
For the past seven years, football has been a big part of my physical and mental growth. I truly started my journey in athletics by playing Australian Rules Football when I lived in Australia for 3 years. After my family returned to the U.S., my father linked me up with an outstanding kicking/punting coach, Tony Yelk, who really got me started on the path of being a specialist. I am now training with Coach Mike McCabe of One on One Kicking over the past 2 1/2 years to improve my consistency and realize my full potential. Coach McCabe and Coach Yelk have been great and I owe them my gratitude. My aspirations are to continue to improve in my athletic and football abilities so they can help me meet my academic goals of achieving a college and masters degree. The costs of attending a university are very high and I intend to use my football ability to help fund my college and post college education. While I have not yet truly decided what field of study I want to enter, I am interested in areas such as national security, law enforcement, possibly the military or perhaps business administration. I feel strongly that I would be a great addition to any team due to my dedication to God, the belief in supporting my teammates and treating them with respect. I firmly believe there is a higher purpose for all of us that we must identify and support each other to achieve. Football is an awesome way to help make that happen and meet that goal.
