I am a first year student at Murray State University (Kentucky) majoring in Engineering Graphics & Design. I play Intramural Sports, however, I am very much interested in playing football on the next level. During this year (2013), I did not play for a University team. I will entertain the many opportunities to play football at the University level. I would be the best fit for the spot on the team. I am the best fit for many reasons; I have and show passion for everything that I do. I am always ready for a challenge, and I am willing to do my best at all times. By knowing me, Steven Malcolm Malik Mann, I hope you come familiar with my wit, charm, abilities, smile, character and my honor. In our meeting and time, I pray and hope that I have been a positive being and blessing in your life. That I have been real! Some people help others because they may not feel like it. Unlike them I enjoy helping others because I have a passion for it. I have a passion for helping others because I like having an impact on someone. Having an impact on someone lets me know how much of an influence I am. Doing something with passion has a greater outcome than doing something without a purpose. I would be the best fit because I am always ready for a challenge. Whether it is being physically or mentally, challenges make me a better person. Being part of the student body, I would challenge my fellow classmates to become better than what they were before. Taking on that challenge I will trust, respect and never quit on them. Trust their words, respect their actions, and to never quit on either he or she. Challenging myself will show others to challenge themselves. My presence makes a difference in this world because you are in it with me. Being the best that one can be is an important aspect of life. I am determined and motivated to do my best at all times. Being a student athlete I understand that I must do my best in academics first before I compete. Which comes first? Brains or Muscle? The brain is a muscle, therefore, I must use it properly to get the results of success in the classroom as I would on the field. There are times where I may want to take the easy way out or even just do the minimum, I know that doing my best shows how far in life I will go. Striving for excellence off the field is just as important as on the field. Although I am changing as a person I want to be that person who makes a change. I want to have an impact and influence others to have the same energy and enthusiasm. Change is a good thing, physically or mentally.
