My name is Joshua Hogan and I am student athlete at Woodland High School in McDonough, GA. Football and Track have been a major part of my life since I began to walk. I noticed I had a natural talent and that easily transferred into other sports - not so easily into academics. I have learned to balance my time on the gridiron and in the books. Teachers saw my natural abilities to always strive to do better in academics and the coaches acknowledged my natural talent in sports straight away.
I began my football career like most on recreational and travel teams. By playing sports from such a young age, and reaching levels I never thought I could obtain have made a big impact on my drive and awareness to set and reach bigger goals. Learning to train not only my body but my mind in sports and school has been a constant since I was young. I have gained knowledge in a sport I love, leadership skills, become more mature in my game and have developed teamwork skills.
As I am a Junior at Woodland High School, I hope to continue my education and perfect my craft in all the sports I am involved in. My goal is to become a versatile student-athlete that can showcase all my skills and talents that I will continue to nurture.
