Dear Prospective Coach:
My name is Justin Lee Watson. I am a 6'2" 255lb Football Player, who plays DT/DE for North Gwinnett High School (NGHS—7A). I have been blessed to start on the Varsity football team since the 9th grade and garnered significant playing time as a freshman at Northview HS (NVHS—6A). For the 2018-2019 season at NVHS, I was also the overall strongest player on the team. At the end of the end of the 2018-2019 football season, I, with my parents' blessings and convincing them to sale their house and move, decided to transfer to NGHS because I wanted to compete with the best athletes at the highest levels in Georgia. I knew transferring as a senior would be a risky move to my starting with the team and playing time because NGHS already had an established and very good football team. However, I am confident in my abilities and trusted that if the coaches gave me a fair opportunity, I would play and possibly start. Well trusting in my God’s given abilities paid off and I currently start with the NGHS team. In only my second game, I was awarded Defensive Player of the week honors. My main attributes are my work ethic, strength, desire to win, and be the best I can be. I love to hit on the field and weight training. I am a person that is strong in my faith, a team player, and of good moral character. I know that I will make a good addition to the right school's football team and to the overall community.
There are many things that have influenced who I am, what I want to do with my life and my drive to play football. I am a bit laid-back in my personality generally and let my play on the field do the talking for me in football. Indeed, on the football field, my football personality shines—toughness, never-quit attitude, and eagerness to beat my man and execute my assignments. My parents have always stressed the Student first and Athlete second. My studies in college will be my first priority. I am still deciding what area of study I want to focus on in college, but leading toward Business or Engineering. I would like to find a school at which I can get a good education and make a significant contribution to the football program.
Of course, I will be adding highlights from my senior year at NGHS. Also, here is a link to my NVHS highlight tape. https://recruit-match.ncsasports.org/clientrms/profile/video.
Please feel free to contact my coaches at NGHS. The defensive line coach is Caleb Hullet. His email is [email protected] and his phone number is 205-237-0280. The head coach is named Bill Stewart. His email is [email protected] and his phone number is 404-545-5653. Here is my schedule: https://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/north-gwinnett-bulldogs-(suwanee,ga)/football/schedule.htm.

Sincerely,
Justin L. Watson
