My experiences have taught me to relish hard work and perseverance. I am committed to applying myself fully. I have the invaluable capacity to think critically and I am able to remain disciplined amidst highly challenging and hectic circumstance. Conducting myself with honor and respect both in and off the field is very important to me knowing that the way I conduct myself reflects back on my team, my coaches and my family.
Academically, I have maintained a 3.4 GPA while being a dual-sport athlete throughout my high school career. By taking high school courses in middle school, I am a year ahead in both math and science courses. I will also be dual-enrolled during both my junior and senior years of high school. Taking such college courses as College Algebra, English, and Precalculus will not only help prepare me for college, but it will also provide me with the math skills that I need to become a business major. This academic plan that I have set for myself will allow me to complete my high school graduation requirements a full semester early.
I am an agile athlete who thrives at my positions of wide receiver and corner back and can drive my team to higher levels with my strong work ethics, my dedication and my ability to critically think in all situations. Leading by example is my motto and because of that I have had perfect attendance at all summer workouts, spring morning weightlifting sessions and fall practices. I hold school records of the most interceptions in a game, the longest interception for a touchdown and the longest touchdown. I also played basketball my freshman year and ran track my sophomore year.
