Garrett Ford '17 Recruiting Profile

     My goal for college is to get into a good school that has a degree program fits my interest, and a football program that I can contribute to.  Academically, I have been in the gifted program since elementary school, and have taken all honors and advanced placement classes in high school. My academic strength is in math and science. I work hard to keep my grades up and strive for all A's. I'm very intelligent  and my education is important to me.  
     On the football field, I'm currently playing left tackle, but have played right guard and defensive tackle. I became a varsity starter as a sophomore and have worked hard to contribute to my team.  I spend the off season with a trainer in a local gym, working on increasing my strength, endurance, and agility.  I'm a team player, and have moved to different positions based on our teams' needs. My coach can depend on me to work hard and do my best. I consider myself very coachable.  I feel I can contribute to any team.
      I have a very good attitude towards everything on and off the field. I always listen to the advice my coaches and teachers. I'm generally a very quite and reserved person off the football field, however, on the field I'm very aggressive. I have a very good work ethic, and am always striving to give my personal best in everything. I'm grateful for all the blessings God has given me, and I strive to glorify him in all I things.
