My name is Zachery Carruth I am Senior at Emanuel county institute. I am a A and B type of student and I work to achieve to further my education and become the best student athlete at my school. On the field I push myself until I cant go anymore and I lay it on the line for my team, coaches, and myself. In the weight room I work everyday to get bigger stronger and faster so I can be better on the field. I have been playing football since I was three and since that first day that I got to hit someone I knew I wanted to play this sport at the next level. I have also been beating the odds as for when I was 10 I was diagnosed with cancer and wasn't cleared until I was 12 the doctors all told me I should never think about stepping on a field again and the rest is history as I am still playing today. So what I am basically saying is you will be getting a hard working, academics first, loyal type of guy for your team. I play OL/DL and recently I was invited to play in the OD ALL AMERICAN BOWL in Atlanta where I played Center.

- ActivitiesI volunteer with CURE for Childhood cancer by promoting awareness of this deadly decease. Being a Cancer survivor and knowing the struggles in which I have gone through and if I can help one family out then I know that I have touched someone's life. So, raising money during the month of September which is Childhood Cancer awareness month is something close to my heart. I am also an active member in my local church in which I find is very important by being a true role model to the youth. God has given me a wonderful life and for that I am so very blessed.
