Hi, my name is Cameron (my family and friends call me Big Cam) and I'm a hardworking football player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I am an athlete who knows the game of football. I am just starting my senior year of high school and I am looking forward to achieving many personal accomplishments. Last year, I was one of two Junior class representatives for our Varsity Leadership Academy. I was also selected as the Practice Player of the week 3 times. I truly believe that you play as you practice so this is an important accomplishment for me. I was selected as Second Team All County and Honorable Mention All Region, 6A. I also was awarded the Wolverine Award. This year, my Senior season I’m again a key member of our teams Leadership Committee and one of the Team Captains, in addition two of my teachers nominated me to be part of our school’s Athlete Leadership Team, where we do special volunteer activities at school and in our community.
Knowing that I am capable of playing football in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up. I am the first to go on the field and the last to leave.
When it comes to choosing what school I would like to attend, my options are very big. I mainly am looking at southern states (Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina etc.) but I am open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter on the size or the location; if I can receive a good education and play football I will be happy. My top choices for a major as of right now is either Sports Analyst, Sports Writer, Educational/Coaching or a Trade. However, my major may change over the rest of my high school career.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a high competitive level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on my team and to be an example to those after me. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest, would keep a smile on my face.
