Damien Diaz '27 Recruiting Profile

Aloha and Hafa Adai,

I am an incoming sophomore at St. Louis School in Honolulu, Hawaii. I am a multi-sport athlete who plays football, 7on7 pylon football, and track and field. I have been playing football since I was nine years old, while I have been participating in track and field for two years. Through playing teams sports I have learned numerous life lessons: doing the right thing when no one is watching, never be afraid to fail, always have a willingness to learn, and hard work pays off. I constantly try my best to lead by example, always pushing myself to be the hardest working player on the field, but also ensure to encourage my teammates to do the same. I also strive to perfect my football skills and craft through participating in 7on7 football tournaments, football camps and clinics, and take the opportunity to work out on my own time.  My work ethic in athletics also translates to the classroom as well. I have been taking honors courses since the 7^th grade. I consistently have maintained a high GPA and have recently been inducted into the National Honors Society (NHS). I have aspirations to play collegiate and God willing, professional football. I will continue to push myself hard on and off the field and hope to one day fulfill my dream.
