Aloha kākou. My name is Tiger Ader and I am from the island of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. I am 15 years old and just completed my sophomore year at Pearl City High School and played on the varsity team. I have a couple more years ahead of me to decide my academic pursuit and collegiate pathway. However, I do have an interest in microbiology to study microorganisms with hopes to one day find cures for diseases and illnesses.
Academically, I have always put my studies first. My strength is in math. I currently have a 3.857 GPA for the 4th quarter. Although I have a passion for football, I must rely on my academic achievements to be accepted into college as my priority. I would be honored to be accepted into a fine college and be able to play ball. It would be a privilege. I also hold a part-time job as a classroom cleaner after school. It teaches me about responsibility, commitment, and work ethic.
I have been playing football since I was 4 years old with my beginning years in Pop Warner. Since then, I kept the momentum and have been playing consecutively, year-round with various club organizations for 11 years now. Throughout the years, I have learned and played all positions in offense, defense and special teams. My current position is an outside linebacker but have extensive experience as a middle linebacker as well as quarterback. I am more than willing to fill-in positions as coaches see fit for the betterment of the team.
I have a long line of coaches throughout my youth football career that have invested their time and knowledge to build me up to the player Iʻve become. Itʻs invaluable for a young person like me. I have been mentored by renown and reputable coaches of Hawaiʻi including Coach Robin Kami, Coach Robin Puahala, Coach Jeff De Asis, Coach Guy Paredes and most importantly, my dad & brother. I only gain and benefit from this support and I am humbled by it. I am hopeful my coaches and teammates hold a high regard for me. On and off the field, I am a respectful, earnest, responsible and honest person. I hold the same value for school as I do for football. I uphold to what my grandpa, my #1 fan told me before he passed away. "Do everything 110%."
