My freshman year, I started working with a team who had a different coach for the past three years. The morale of the team was very low and they were feeling defeated. I was thrown into the fire as their starting quarterback. This not only forced me to grow physically but mentally as well. I learned how to be a leader in the good times and the bad. Even though we didn't win a lot of games my freshman year, I was able to make an impact on my team by leading by example. This was very helpful for my sophomore year because we went on to win 3 games and almost made it to districts. My passion for football started in the fourth grade. I would like to graduate high school with the technical skills that will benefit me in the future as well as obtaining a 3.0 G.P.A or higher. I've had to overcome obsticles including a learning disablity. For the first five years of school, I had to have a teachers assistant and learning has never come easy for me. I also had to overcome anger issues and learn how to work effectively with others. My strengths include, being able to visualize the field and see opportunities for passes. I also have a good arm, throwing an accurate 45-50 yard pass and I can run a 440 in five seconds.
